When something whispers to you to go out and to explore while carrying a camera, you do it without questioning. And so I did. I remember looking out of the window, just after waking up, hoping to find mist, frost or a beautiful sunset.
While others were asleep (except for my father, he milked the cows), I grabbed my gear, clothing and rushed out. Frequently, accompanied by Fleur (Jack Russel), waiting for me. I never knew what was going to happen or what I would do. I don’t care about results. It’s the joy of doing something creative, being in the moment, having no thoughts, no boundaries. It’s freedom. And that’s happiness.
While others may travel the world, in search of epic sceneries/landscapes, I know that you don’t have to go far to capture beauty.
These images represent my early photography experiences and my latest.
